RN - Emergency Department - FT/Varies JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems. This is an entry level position responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies. The Emergency Department at Valley Children's provides emergency pediatric and trauma care to infants, children, and adolescents (up to 21 years of age).
