RN - Explorer - FT/Nights JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care and is responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care though assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices. Starship Explorer is a 36-bed, acute care unit with a patient population comprised primarily of surgical patients. The surgical services includes, but is not limited to cardiac, trauma, neurosurgery, ENT and orthopedic patients. Explorer's patients are both inpatient and observation patients. Expl
