Please note: Penn State Health Cancer Center at Hampden Medical Center will open this October. As part of this expansion, all staff from Penn State Health Medical Group - Andrews Patel Hematology/Oncology in Camp Hill will transition to the new location.

The teams at Andrews Patel, Hampden Medical Center and Penn State Health Cancer Services are working closely together to ensure a smooth and coordinated move that supports both our staff and the patients we serve.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides patients medications and fluids via intravenous injection. May prepare and mix solutions for intake, monitors fluid tubes and injection site, and maintains arterial catheters. Monitors medication ingestion for proper dosage and avoids potential drug complications. The Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Associate?s degree in Nursing 
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
