Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, Anesthesia Team to help with Pre Admission Testing (PAT) in Upstate South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience. New grads will not be considered. 

This position is no direct patient care - all chart review and documentation.

Position Highlights

• Monday- Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Hybrid position: combination of onsite work and remote days
• No nights, no call, no weekends 
• Review surgical patient charts and document pre-anesthesia evaluation in Epic EMR
• Review EKGs, labs, and cardiac imaging to determine if patient is appropriate for surgery or if additional intervention is needed
• Review prior anesthetic history for previous anesthetic complications
• Review patient home medications and follow approved protocols for pre-surgery medication administration instructions
